Mrsmig, do tell how to put on false eyelashes. I've about given up.
All it takes is a little glue and a steady hand.

Oh, yeah, eyelids are needed too.

Yeah, at least I have coffee.

Man, I can barely put on mascara without poking myself in the eye.

I'm trying to make good on my January goals, and while I have been mildly focused mostly I am sitting in the coffee shop waiting for my wife to come take me shopping.

Difficult when you're wearing glasses. Ditto the falsies.

I'm thinking about painting that wall and about refinishing the bathroom cabinets. I'm thinking I'll wait a while.

I'm trying to kill time until I can eat my protein bar (blood sugar issues... I have to eat at specific times, according to my endocrinologist). By kill time, I mean, that I need to work up the gumption to go talk to someone about a project because he needs to give me information about it that's different from the information he gave me yesterday, which wasn't in any form about this project (but was supposed to have been).

Fruitbat, did you finish your curtains for your laundry room? I know that's an odd thing for me to suddenly think of, but there it is.
    WIPs

    Untitled <-- Supernatural MG (drafting)
Tobias Tinker <-- Clockpunk MG (on hold)
Freak Town <-- Paranormal YA (on hold)
Huntington House <-- Paranormal YA (on hold)

Trying to find a nonchalant way to make it to 50 posts so I can realize that I don't really feel like sharing my work anyway.

    Ich lerne Deutsch.
Das ist nicht vom Meister im Himmel gefallen?

    Deutsche Sprache, Schwere Sprache?

Bilingual is difficult. ;___; Easier than writing, actually.

Erunt: "they will have been" (I think.. my Latin has nearly rusted away). There's your problem, it hasn't happened yet!!

PS. I am avoiding emptying more of the 300+ boxes the movers delivered on Wednesday.

Bracing for the day. Thinking of the days when I could escape. Wondering if it's too late to find a better way.

Books I'm betting. Don't have enough shelves, do ya?

I've got unopened boxes in my garage, brought here in 2001 from previous residence. Sometimes I get curious what's in them, but it passes.

I know Dr. Phil. He's that guy with no hair who makes people cry and sends them off to treatment centers and psychiatric facilities from which, as far as I know, they never return. I watch his evil ministrations while I treadmill - when I can't find anything interesting in the ER stories.

Drinking good coffee but with nasty creamer.

    Need to make breakfast.
Twitter - Writings, YA, nerdy stuffs and the occasional leak of fiction into reality

Instagram - the occasional short story or flash fiction piece tied to some crappy glitch art and attempts at gardening.

Not even close... I'd consider building some, but as a carpenter... I cut it three times and it's still too short!

Oh, and there's the huge collection of antique software, too.

I know what's in mine that haven't been opened since ca. 1980... books, books, and more books!!

What am I doing? Typing. What does it look like I'm doing?

I thought I was going to enjoy Super Bowl Sunday, but I seem to be wrong. Maybe I'll work on my book instead. And there's all those leaves out there waiting, waiting, waiting.

Coming up with a bunch of ideas that don't seem to work when put in practice. Most recently, a short story about a long-lasting friendship between five people that comes to a fiery end over a game of Monopoly.
For sale: baby shoes, size 14.

    Suck it, Ernie.
