Hey, Funners! (And Floozies!) Sprints through thread. I have to work today. *sobs*

I hope NF is okay, too. The news footage coming out of Texas is so awful.

Congrats on your sub, Cathleen! Crossing fingers for you. :hooray:

I've seen her on since it started getting bad, although not in the last couple days. Some areas of Texas have it worse than mine, but it does feel like it has been ark worthy.

Pity we can't redistribute the weather to better effect. California could really use some rain. But then again, being human, we'd be bound to screw it up.

Yep, I think NF is the only Texan I know that I haven't heard from since the worst of the worst. Pickax, real glad you're okay!

I blame AC. He's been behaving an awful lot lately. It's begun to affect the weather.

The weather is always weird in Nashville for the CMA Festival in June. I blame it on the massive influx of polyester. It create a static electric charge that affects the atmosphere for 100 miles.

I see you're amassing a pencil army, Ladyx. Are you familiar with the chisel-point drawing technique?

The chisel-point technique is just a way to do line art using an ordinary pencil. Once you get used to it, and can get "in the zone," you can do line and tonal drawings that can be impressive.

I heard from N-F. She's okay.

She had lots of rain in her area but not too much flooding.

Yay for NF being okay and school being over and pencils being replaceable and art being made and stuff.

I'll be back in a while with more words of wisdom for y'all.

Today is the last day of school! :snoopy:

So glad nighty's ok.

I did my Snoopy Happy Dancing yesterday. My son had his last day of school yesterday. That's last day ever. The only thing left is graduation, which isn't until June 9th. He's our last one, so we're DONE with high school forever!!!!!
