Name's John and I've been looking through the site for a good bit of time. I've never posted before (at least in anything besides facebook) and I think I'd like to start.
I'll be turning the big 'three-oh' in a few weeks, and although I've been writing stories since I was a wee lad in elementary school, I've never really made them available for criticism. Always been sort of 'in the closet' with my writing, but it's something that I love. I'm driven to get better, and I hope this forum will help me get there.
I have thick skin, would love harsh and meaningful critiques, and look forward to being part of what I hope is a like-minded community.
