Not everyone is Catholic, but even if you aren't you know we have these patron saints of stuff.

So, want to instantly access a massive database of real and diverse names from across global cultural boundaries and the last two-thousand years that each carry an instant meaning?

http://www.catholic.org/saints/

I was just thinking that not everyone knew about this resource, so I thought I'd share.

On a related note, does anyone have resources on the names of meaningful figures from across the time and space in the other major world religions?

Islam, and Hindu, I'm looking for you!

Cool. I like your method better than mine. i go to a translater and translate the same word into different languages to see wich one i like best. That way my names have meaning. Except for the protagonist and antagonist. I took my pros name and rearranged the letters to make the Ants name.

On a slightly different bent, here's a list of anagram sites that will help you rearrange the letters of names to come up with other names/words.
