    Museum of Words / Museo de la Palabra

    The Museum of Words (Museo de la Palabra) is having a flash fiction contest with a 20k USD prize. Everything looks on the up and up, but the entry form is asking for a passport# and home address, which seems kind of odd. Is this legit, or some sort of elaborate identity scam?

    My spidey sense is tingling off the charts! Passport info? No Way! That could open a door to your identity data that you might never be able to shut... bad idea...

    It appears as if everyone agrees sharing this information is probably not a good idea. Is this a case of the contest organizers not understanding that their request is a bit excessive, or is this a case of malicious intent? Does anyone have firsthand knowledge of this organization?
