According to my stats, I haven't logged in here since 2008 (and was mostly a lurker, even back then.) A lot's happened since then, including most recently losing a fairly nice writing/editing gig to corporate downsizing/restructuring. I've been knocked back to basics and minimum-wage work to try and get back on my feet, but trying to support a family on minimum wage and content mill scraps doesn't work that well. 
So here we are, trying to get back to work in hopes of exchanging a few words for the coin of the realm. Figured getting back in here was a pretty decent place to start.
