I started binge watching this past weekend. I probably have 3-4 more episodes. I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I have! I absolutely love it. I'll come back and read through the thread once I finish. Although Season 2 is on now...and I won't watch it until it's on Netflix.

Did anyone else notice the gargoyle shot from one of the exteriors of ep 5 (last ep)? I think it was just outside of Theo's place. That ledge corner and gargoyle are right out of the comics...in just a few years...Batman will be hanging around up there...

Nice touch.

It's back, and little Bruce Wayne is becoming fierce.

Anyone else miss Fish?

Fish is there! She had a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo at Indian Hill!

I liked their set-up for Mr. Freeze, though I'm kind of sad they didn't go the "keeping Nora on ice" route.

Fish was in one of the tanks, but they only showed her from behind, so she'll be making her actual "appearance" later in the season.

I think BD Wong is having a blast as Strange. It's like a Bizarro-world amalgam of Dr. Huang from Law and Order:SVU and Dr. Wu from Jurassic Park/Jurassic World.

Does anyone think that the new Jim Gordon is a little out of character? I'm not completely sure myself, since we've only ever seen him as a cop. Maybe he was this bad-ass before, but I never really realized it until he became a bounty hunter? Something about the symbol of justice being a rough and tumble mercenary just make me tilt my head and ask, "So... he's Batman now?" I don't know if others feel the same, but I kind of liked him better as a rebellious cop.

Yep, I don't know where the bounty hunter thing came from?

On another note, Selena/Cat Woman is my absolute favorite character, while Barbara gets on my last nerve.

I'm not digging the new James "Going to Gritty-Talk Like Christian Bale's Batman" Gordon. But I'm willing to ride it out.

This *nods*. It's like they sat around the writer's table and chatted about backstory or events that shaped the character then jumped to how he evolved through it all and left us out of the details...or something...

I have high hopes for Selena...Barbara needs to go back to being locked up lol.

First two seasons were great. Current season so far? Kind of all over the place. Really frustrated that they introduced the Batcave last season and have kept it on ice so far. Fish, Pen, and Joker are great but not used as often as I'd like. Gordon is awful, especially now that he's a constantly grunting drunk. Ready to give up on this show. Too bad, because the origin story started out pretty good and still has great visuals.

The season finale was a "cliff hanger" in every sense of the word. :tongue

*Wonders if I'm the only one still watching*

Oh Phooey! - Sorry to hear that.

Being a Girl who LURVES herself some Batman, I just find it fun and entertaining to watch.:)
