Hey everyone! My name is Sydney and I am currently a sophomore working towards my degree in creative writing at Lake Superior State University. I am also currently working on a YA fantasy novel that I am hoping to publish before I graduate in a few years. I always knew in my heart that I wanted to be a writer but it wasn't until last January that I finally "discovered" that writing is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I'm really excited to be part of this wonderful community and talk with others who love to write as much as I do!

I honestly haven't seen any mosquitoes up here, but I'm guessing it was the cold winter that allowed me the pleasure of not having to swat them.
It's still in the 70s here it's not bad, I actually think it's still too warm, I honestly can't wait for the snow to start falling.
