I ain't going in Ted's van. :scared:

(Sorry, Ted. You know I lurves you, but that van of yours... *violent shudder*)
Pfft.

There's nothing to fear there.

I've been in Ted's van.

Okay, I haven't actually been in the van, but I've been next to it.

Okay. Not actually next to it, but I've seen it.

In a picture.

Last year.

And nothing bad's happened to me.

Yet... The stuff in there sometimes takes years to manifest...

But really, Sara. There's nothing to fear. It's a perfectly norm, er..., well, it's got just the front and driver side/passenger side windows. And the signs for free candy and puppies.

The duct tape and the chains and the smell of chloroform well that's just Ted trying to decorate and deodorize the interior. Not that it smells bad or anything, but you know how old vehicles get what with the old Micky D's and the stuff that ends up on the floors and the body ba..., er, the smell of old rope and burlap.

Don't you want a free puppy? or kitten?

Glue and glitter. :D

Might not get rid of it per se, but at least it will look prettier. :D

Third operation (skin graft) scheduled for next week..
It's been a wonderful year thus far, but at least I have my health.

Oh, wait...

I had a skin graft from my leg to my arm. I hate to make it worse for you, but it was far more painful than the surgery. I have a 8 inch diameter hole in my arm and most of the pain came from where they took the graft. Have you don't any research?

I've domne a small amount of research on skin grafts, Jake, but not all that much. They're either goiung to take the skin from my thigh area (outer thigh, left leg - same one as the ankle wound) or from my left elbow area (probably upper arm). The surgeon said it'll feel about like a road rash from concrete.

It's gotta' be done though or the healing will take longer.

I have often wondered if certain super-heroes, particularly of the Golden and Silver Age, were color-blind.

Funny thing, Daredevil is color blind. His costume was originally yellow and red. It wasn't until Spiderman began to tease him about it did he change.

A lot of the superhero costumes were garish because of the printing technology of the day. Hulk was originally supposed to be gray but because the ink kept bleeding, on one page he would be yellowish and then on the next pinkish. That's why they settled on green.

Good luck, Greg!

Mine came from my left thigh, it was about 6" by 9". My doctors compared it more to 3rd degree burns. It oozes blood for a while and it sucks when anything touches it. The process could be straight out of a good horror novel. They use what looks like a cheese slicer and take off all but one layer of skin. Then they run it through a meat tenderizer until it is about twice the size and fold it and do it again. It supposed to make it stronger. They stapled mine down with 64 staples.
