    Diamond,
You have five verses here; what you should have is three. You're actually supposed to take the last line of the previous post and make that your first line. The next poster uses your last line, and so forth--the never-ending Haiku serpentines its way through peoples personal obsessions, one 5-7-5 Haiku at a time. Sort of like Sudoku for poets. That said:

    Have at thee, sailor,
for I'm just a little fish.
    Catch me if you can.
Here's a simple axiom: Once a mob has a bonfire to guide it, there is no telling how much it can accomplish. It's potential is limitless.

    Pull you off the horse?
We should have called you an ass.

    Only darkness—pain—
a forgiving heart tends to bleed.
    Yours is much the same.

    Too steep? To ignore
    this mountain's treacherous face,
    concede to the fall.

    We warned you before:
the ice you tread on is thin.
    Go softly to shore.

    Go softly to shore
the great wide swim is over --
    take your place in sand.
