In 2009, 8-year-old Cara Cox was abducted by her non-custodial father. Fast forward to 2014 and she's been found alive and well in Mexico. Dad's being held awaiting extradition, and Cara's back with her mom in Florida.
Losing custody is a horrible thing, but visitation has to be preferable to never seeing your kid again while you rot in a cell. I'm just glad that Dad took care of the kidlet while he had her, and that this story is on its way to a happy ending. I'm sure Cara and her mom will have some bumps ahead, but at least they've got a shot.
