The full version of Acrobat will extract data with formatting. There are utilities for pretty much any OS; some free, some not. Back when I still supported Windows, I used this: http://www.pdflib.com/products/tet-pdf-ifilter/

Apr 16, 2014 #3 at work I use http://www.free-ocr.com/ works pretty well, but always skim over the results to make sure there aren't any errors ps It might also be this one : http://www.onlineocr.net/ one ends with com the other with net believe it is the second actually ? both are norton approved for what that's worth ?
