It's a weird mix to be sure. But if I do it again, I'll certainly do things differently.

When does the cold weather hit you guys? I mean, the really cold stuff?

That's the good thing about recipes. If you're at all handy in the kitchen, you can use them more as... guidelines. *g*

The really cold weather... maybe June, although sometimes June can be still pretty mild. July for sure is cold.

But I should add that it'll probably be cool enough for me to eat soup by around the end of April.

Now that dinner is done, it's time for me to get the other stuff going, but I'm feeling really lazy now. All the stress kinda zapped me. LOL

But I'm sure I'll get plenty done tonight.

Maybe once you get started you'll find your energy?

I'm getting there. I have goals for the day to get done.

Having daily goals is good. It helps to prod you to get stuff done.

I like to decide what I'm going to accomplish each day, making sure I give myself recovery days too. I find if I don't make at least a mental list of what I want to get done in a day, I end up getting nothing at all done.

Right. Me too.

It's always something. I've got plenty of jobs to do today. Writing, ice cream, etc. It's always something.

It's good to have things to do though, don't you think?

Yeah, in a way. I tend to get lazy and do nothing very easily.

Me too. So lists of things to get done in the day are very important for me.

Right now, I've got several friends freaking out for similar reasons. Those of us who are writers are looking into other options.

We'll figure this out.

That's a bummer that you've also got a lot of friends going through a similar thing to what you're going through. I hope you can all figure out something that will work for you.

I'm cleaning my kitchen and getting ready for the next thing I gotta do. I need to take apart my mixer to clean it out. The vents are in a bad place and food got in, so it's gotta be cleaned.

That sounds like a big job. I hope you can get it all cleaned to your satisfaction.

It was gross and smelled terrible! The mixer was about 30 years old and I got it for $1 at a garage sale about 15 years ago. It was gross as hell but I cleaned it as much as I could.

I'm about done with the kitchen and ready to work on the next phase.

That's a GREAT deal, but yeah, I can see it needing a serious cleaning.

I shot a video and edited it last night. Tonight I'll add narration and post it.

But next, I'm going to cook down some red raspberries and get that shot. This way, they'll chill overnight, so I can make the base tomorrow.

Which reminds me, I need to churn a base tonight as well. I might be able to get to bed before 3am tonight. LOL.

That's a lot of stuff to get done! I hope you can get it done... and get to bed before 3am. *g*
