potentially Pointing the point of his lance properly was my point and we all know where that point points

:Jaw:

How much wood, would a wood chuck chuck.... Yes, I'll take the innocent approach and believe you mean to start a new tongue twister among the Court. (Though I'm not sure that approach is any better. Hmmmm.)

Somewhere in my mind... it echoes in here ...
Your Majesty, and Royals,

I'm helping a friend at her new castle in the morning, transplanting some flowers and setting a planting bed in order, so I must turn in as the night becomes morning.

May the day find you rested and well able to meet each challenge that comes your way.

Bon soir.

This is a very interesting article, the link of which was posted in another thread. I thought I would share the article here for those that don't venture into every thread on AW.

Your Majesty, I hate to leave your resplendent presence, but the midnight hour has come and gone. And this princess is feeling the weight of the night. I must retire to my chambers. I trust your day and evening will be filled with joy and beauty--you deserve only the best of all good things.

Good night. I look forward to the morrow when once again I will be here to serve.

Prince Beanie, behave. ;)

I also think it is all about a unique voice. I've always thought one of the best examples of how word choice and rhythm helps make voice is from the start of Lolita. I think it is brilliant.

Lolita, light of my life, fire of my loins. My sin, my soul. Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth. Lo. Lee. Ta. She was Lo, plain Lo, in the morning, standing four feet ten in one sock. She was Lola in slacks. She was Dolly at school.

And as night slowly creeps here... as my heroine said,

I fear that we are betrayed.
I am trembling on the edge of a precipice,
but my own danger is the least of my anxieties ...

Good Sunday, Your Majesty.

Good morning/evening, dear Royals.

Your Majesty, if it please you, I offer you these soft-skin, red boots. They will speed your step and leave all your enemies behind. And these golden bracers, that speed and strengthen so you can defend yourself. Also, this long, silver whip made of magic--spun. (I know you know how to use it, and use it best.)

I would never let harm befall you, my Queen.

Good morning your grace rumours abound of nefarious machinations aimed at the QUEEN! The count has the castle is in a stateof lockdown so the steward will have to report to him first; there were some strange sounds coming from the stables last night but since we were concerned with the queen no one was sent since you are up perhaps you should check everything is in order there when you have had your cofee and are ready take two knights with you just in case. I hope yoy slept well
