How to Copyright Novel- Formatting Question

Hi, everybody. I am planning to copyright my novel before self-publishing online and in print.

What format should the novel be in before submitting to the copyright office? Presently, it is double spaced with each chapter starting on a new page -- the format I originally used to send to publishers and agents.

Since I have made a number of editorial changes, many of the chapters do not start on a new page. Would this matter when sending it to the copyright office?

This may seem to be a nitpicky question, but I feel the need to have it answered.

I would really appreciate some guidance.
