I'm a writer who has often used Absolute Write Water Cooler and have finally decided I should join it. Truth be told, I should have done it long ago. It's a great source and I hope to be around enough for people to remember me. I write--my first novel came out in July of 2012--The ABCs of Dinkology. I edit. I am currently working for EAB Publishing editing seasonal anthologies and the like. I also teach. Though I've taken this year off from creative writing--I used to teach a duel enrollment creative writing course through University of Nebraska at Omaha and a local high school. Right now I advise for said local high school's yearbook, video yearbook, website, and literary magazine. I love my job, but I'm always on the lookout for something better. Well, like I said before, this is a cool place and I am glad to finally officially be a part of it.
