Hi All,

I'm new to the forum (duh). I'm a poet and have been writing for about 40 years. My works mostly involve metre and rhyme. My works are generally cast in the red and violet of the emotional spectrum, as I find poetry cathartic. It's funny, but you would probably think I'm bipolar if you looked at my stuff, but such is not the case. I am looking to share and interact with others who are so inclined.

As to the 50 posts, think of it as a chance to get to know the community, and for the community to get to know you. You'll notice i keep saying 'community,' and that's because that is what AW is: a place for writers (of all kinds) and readers (of all kinds) to learn from each other and make friends, a place that's about giving even more than taking. Our primary rule here is 'Respect Your Fellow Writer' and that's one of the big reasons the forums thrive. You'll love it here, i'm sure.
