Write or Die! It's what gets me through the ruts

The only thing that's actually getting me through Nano is my writing partner. I've never met her. She lives on the other side of the world, but we keep in touch through e-mail and IM and play Word Wars with each other. We compete to see who can get to 500 words first. Each 500-word sprint usually takes us about 20 minutes, and we do a minimum of 3 sprints a day. I tried writing without her this morning and got a grand total of 24 words after 2 hours.

Get yourself a writing partner and let the Word Wars begin.

I agree that write or die is amazing!! It forces you to write and if you stop it deletes your words!
