Hi there. I am a 40-something father of a tween boy living in Northern California with an abiding interest in issues of social inequality and civil rights. My writing tends to be polemical. I prefer essays and rants, but am trying my hand at fiction. I have inadvertently posted a first chapter to the new members forum; for this I apologize. I have subsequently been advised to seek the '50 post' threshold and from there perhaps become eligible for feedback.

I am new to this, so I will tread lightly.
