I'm going on vacation in a few weeks. Much of the time I'll be working on the WIP on the lakeshore. Ahh. But I also want to read, which I don't get enough time for.
For those of you who like angst on the page, what are your go-to fantasy, mystery, and even horror titles? (No romance or hard SF, please--they're not my style.) Old and new, adult and YA.
the best example I can give is The Curse of Chalion. (Cazaril ) Right now, manga is my go-to for an angst hit. But they're quick reads, and I don't want to pack a lot of books.
Make me lie: "I have allergies; that's why I'm all teary-eyed."
Thank you in advance!
