I have a Historical Fantasy based on Shakespeare's King's Lear. The time period is largely based on the Renaissance and fantasy elements are low. If you wish to read the opening chapter, you can find it on SYW here!
The story focuses on a civil war that breaks out between three royal brothers, once the old King loses his wits. It is told from multiple points of view with each character either pulling the strings or getting swept up in the throes of the conflict. It is asoiaf influenced and you'll only get one main morally unambigious character.
Line by line edits are always gratefully received but I am looking more for someone to provide a general overview, especially on pacing, plot and the ending. The story has been beta read before and edited by me to an inch of its life so you shouldn't be finding any basic writing errors.
Willing to swap - but not line by line editing, as I read on my Kindle then give feedback afterward.
