I recently got a laptop with Windows 8 (terrible, I know) and it did not have Microsoft Word on it, not even the demo version. I've been used to type my short stories on MS Word for years because it had a manuscript template.
Now, on my new laptop, I had to download Open Office for free. Unfortunately, Open Office doesn't have a manuscript template that I've been able to find. Would anyone here know if Open Office has a template and how I can find it?
