I have been writing for twenty-five years. During most of that time, I worked full time in the accounting field and managed to write four novels, three unpublished and recently, I direct published one on Kindle. I retired at the end of 2012 and now devote all my energies to writing. I am working on a new novel.

I love to write and think my way through the story telling process. Writing takes me to a place that is calm and better than a good dream. I write fiction, but I also enjoy writing letters and, when I was still working, I wrote many reports and sometimes in a collaborative environment.

I view writing as a craft, a continuous learning process where you can always improve if you remain open. I look forward to taking part in the forums to learn and share.

Welcome. Accounting and writing sounds like an interesting combination. If I were an accountant, I'd definitely have to write or do something creative because the lack of creativity in the job would drive me nuts.

Welcome, Joe!
Yes, writing can be better than a good dream, sometimes I think it's even better than life
