Hi everyone
I've recently had a request for a partial, and I need someone to read through my first 50 pages, especially as regards a) general impression and b) areas where I can develop my characters further and c) just about anything else. I'm no stranger to harsh criticism, so please feel free to heap it on.
I've been burnt several times asking for a writing partner, because I always ended up reading/editing an entire book in return for a couple of chapters of mine. So please forgive me if I seem a little bit selfish asking for a beta reader without returning the favour. I've simply lost too many hours working on other people's books and need to focus on my own for a while.
About the book, I don't want to prejudice any potential reader, so suffice it to say it's the story of two female heroes, who are thrown together to battle their enemies on the streets of Seattle. It's also laced with good helping of humor, so if you're looking for a dark, moody sort of tale, this isn't it.
Thank you.
Carmen
