    Tilbury House, Publishers

Has anyone ever submitted a manuscript to Tilbury House? http://www.tilburyhouse.com/books-childrens.htm Did it take awhile to hear back?

I submitted a PB story over 2 months ago, and nudged (per their guidelines after 1 month) but have not received a response for almost 2 weeks now.

    Thanks!

Their guidelines say it usually takes a month or so to respond. I'd wait six months before even considering another nudge. A month or so is very vague. Three to six is common in the industry. In fact a month is very quick for a publishing house.
You can check query tracker to see if others have posted wait times.

    Good luck.

I'm going to move this over to the Bewares and Background Check Forum (from Writing for Kids forum).
