Evening.
Whilst I'm not new to this 'writing' malarkey I am most certainly new to this 'writing a fictional novel' malarkey and, as a result, I find myself being the only inhabitant in the panic room that has become my head.
Because of this I thought it might be a step in the right direction to drag someone else down with me (only joking) and search for a writing buddy.
I'm not looking for a mentor (though I have much to learn) as I see the collective minds on AW as the only mentor I need, for now. No, I'm looking more for a fellow newbie who finds that they are in a similar predicament as I.
My writing tends to sway (drunkenly) towards the YA, Sci-Fi, Dystopian genres and so someone who has a similar interest in these subjects would obviously be preferable, although that isn't a deal maker/breaker either way.
I am, by nature, a creature of solitude and I can't be sure that this 'writing buddy' is quite my thing. If it doesn't work out, just remember; it's not you, it's me!
Having said that, even if I just find one person who I can (mutually) share ideas/work with on a semi-regular basis then that's grand.
