Hi! I'm technologically challenged - but extremely enthusiastic!!
Just got Internet in January - hopefully I'll learn to navigate the waters in this forum because there seems to be a wealth of information here.
I just finished an upper middle grade fantasy and am now working on a sequel to the first. Can't wait to explore this forum for ideas...

Thanks for the welcome everyone... Tepelus! I took a quick look at your art and blog. You are so-o-o-o gifted. Good luck with the sequel. I'm trying to focus on my own - so many distractions... :)

tinker,

Welcome to AW! My business card used to say that I supported the technologically challenged. That was a decade ago though. Now I'm lucky if I can help myself!

Technology is just the tool . . . Wait, without it, we'd be writing 80,000 words with a quill and ink well. Guess we do need it.

Good luck and welcome.

Thanks for the welcome F.L.N -
"Before going into battle, Vikings would ingest Amanita muscaria. In addition to being moderately poisonous, Amanita muscaria eliminated fear causing them to be feared warriors earning Vikings the nick name berserkers"
**Maybe a little of this in my Baileys will get the writing juices flowing!!

P.S. To Jim Riley - As embarrassing as this is, I have to admit to having written most of my first novel with those antiquated tools... (pen - not quill)

I seriously wasn't kidding about the technologically challenged part. So... no links...
I love so many books that I find it difficult to narrow down the list but the first names that pop into my mind are C.S. Lewis, Roald Dahl, J.K. Rowling and Michael Scott. (love that Flamel series)

That is awesome! Welcome. Don't feel bad I just learned to tweet;excuse me....

Heck, I haven't mastered that one yet. I still glow with pride every time I log on to this site.
