*shuffles feet* Umm...Hello There

Hi, my name is Alexis. I was reading a blog post about finding a critique partner and found this website. It seems like a great way to me other writers and talk about books and writing...my two life loves.

I'm willing to talk about anything, even if I'm completely ignorant about the subject because I love learning about anything new.

I write contemporary romance...I don't have the patience to research for historical lol. Besides I like to write more about the people themselves than the setting.

I like to read ANYTHING...well except westerns but I don't like western movies either. So if you want some feedback let me know. I know how to be constructive without being mean.

Lastly, I'm just really friendly and open and I waste so much time on the internet it would be good to know that I'm doing something constructive. Hope to make some new friends!!

I'm not sure why, but it could be that when I was a kid, the only movies we ever went to were westerns.
That was all my dad would watch. Maybe I got my fill of westerns growing up.

I blame my double X chromosome...I just don't get the appeal lol. Just like my husband doesn't understand why I'm obsessed with Pretty Little Liars...a show for 15 year old girls. What can I say!
