Hi everyone! I googled "how to edit your novel" and ended up here.
I quit my job last year to write* and ended up writing a book. I'm currently trying to figure out how to edit it. This is one of the hardest thing I've ever done, mostly because there's no hard and fast rules on how to succeed other than "write every single day and never give up". I love it, though, and I wouldn't trade my life for anything (even an extra paycheck )
I participated in NaNoWriMo 2012, which was amazing and exhausting and I'm totally looking forward to doing it again this year.
Oh and uhm...fun facts: I have dogs (shih tzus)! And I love video games (Left 4 Dead, Resident Evil, Minecraft). When I'm not writing I'm probably testing out new recipes (I love me some allrecipes.com) or remodeling my house (which is constantly trying to collapse into a big pile of junk, just like Dave Barry warned it would).
I'm totally excited for this! I've been looking for a community that I could bounce ideas around with
* This sounds more dramatic than it really was - I only worked in customer service
