Guilty Pleasure Reads

Xanth! And the Little House books, I still enjoy reading them. In adult fiction I am amazingly fond of Amanda Quick. (Jayne Ann Kretnz' historical romances) Yes, they have a formula. Yes, she uses some of the same tricks over and over, but they are witty and hilarious. I read them over and over.
I also still read HP fanfic on occasion. It's fun.

Green Eggs and Ham... gets me every time.

Goosebumps isnt a guilty pleasure - its brilliant! Been watching the tv show recently with my daughter - its like the Twilight Zone for kids!

Is Virginia Andrews a guilty pleasure? Jackie Collins?

Also, several years ago a series of four novels based on Doom were released. They are terrible, but I absolutely love them.
