I am looking for someone who will read the first chapter of my contemporary romance, this is the second draft. I am looking for basic input, and critique.

Can you tell me more about it?

You have enough posts you could always try to see how it flies in Share Your Work, though I can see why people steer clear from it too. In the Romance section they do tend to be very nice however.
