Went to the Christmas thing for my writer's group. Yes, we still discussed our writing.
I've found a wordpress template that I was able to tweak easily enough to suit me (stupid how there is no consistency in those things) so I can blog. I have quite a bit of content ready. It's just not live yet. It will be opinions, commentary, historical stuff, and some things from the 30s & 40s to compare to today, and a few book reviews.
Found an IP attorney to get the plagiarism of my book taken care of. I have a thread here for it in case anyone wants to catch up on the last 2 months & follow the process along for FYI reasons. (I do not name names since I don't want all that internet foolishness going on.) It's in the conquering challenges forum password serenity.
Working on ebook formatting for said book but not so easy with pictures.
Also learning the ins and outs of selling on Amazon 2nd edition hard copies I have left of same said book.
I want to get all the selling & reformatting stuff out of the way on the other book so it's more visible before I go back to editing the one on my siggy.

Hello Kids!
I see old pals and new folks on here. Wonderful! I've been thinking about you guys lately (well, not you newbs 'cause I didn't know about you yet) and wanted to stop by and say "hi."
Checking in: 2012 not a great year, professionally (compared to 2011 at least) or personally, but I'm hoping 2013 will be much improved.
I still (almost, as in there isn't a day job - I just sometimes go w/o wine) support myself solely through writing, have learned much and gained wonderful new pals and amazing support from my species - writers.
For you new folks, this group of people have been in my corner since I was a fledgling scribe and they're the best.
I'll try to check in more regularly and see how you all are faring.

....most of my pet writing projects are still on the hard drive of my lappie that crashed and died most horribly....and I was trying to convince myself to leave AW, but my significant otter....
...any way, I was so depressed that I didn't even read anything (other than newspapers and magazines) for a year....
....so, now I am being pursued by an enraged, death-dealing, otter...who is very significant...found the hidden lappie and is threatening to take all of my work off the damaged drive, and put it onto a brand new shiney device...and basically 'Rumplestiltskin' me into creativity again....
...so, I was kinda hoping that you folks would protect me from my doom...
....and in case the otter has suborned you, at least suggest which martyred project I should ressurect first...
