    made the shortlist

    Hi guys,

I've wanted to post something in this forum for absolutely ages! And I finally got the chance - my novel has been shortlisted for the Guardian/Hot Key Books young writers' prize: http://hotkeyblog.wordpress.com/2012...the-shortlist/

I'm the second one down in 13-19. Won't find out who has won until March, but I'm so happy to have got this far.
    WIPS:
    ~ YA contemporary thriller (querying)
    ~ YA archaeological fantasy

Ooh, yay! Congrats, Bert! I'm so pleased for you. (I posted the link about the competition in the YA forum way back when, so I'm chuffed one of our AWers has been shortlisted for it.)
