Had a full request from an agent who also asked for more information about me. Only issue is, I put a paragraph of information about my short story sales, my literature night and where I'm from in the cover letter that led to the request. I don't really have much more to add.

What sort of information is being requested here and how should I pitch it? Are agents looking for a particular sort of person as well as a good book?

Thanks!

Don't stress it, it's probably part of her form language for requests. Just reuse what you had, adding an extra couple of sentences that might be quasi-relevant, like what authors inspire you or how long you've been writing, etc.

You could also mention what you're working on now, if you're looking for more space to fill? I haven't been in this situation before but what everyone else said sounds about right. :)
