Does anyone else forget where their plot is going, because you've typed so much and it's getting hard to keep track, given you've only read through once or twice so far?

What do you do to combat this? I don't even have chapters, yet! Argh.

I use an outline I put together for each scene so I have a pretty good idea what I'll be writing about, and I just added a section for "inventory," so I can keep track of where all of the important items are (some have been stolen, others are with them, etc.).

That's great. I need to do a summary of some sort.

How did you get the NaNo word counter to work? I thought that was in HTML, not in message-board language. So i thought it wouldn't work here.

I have an outline, but obviously sometimes things change as you write. But I usually just make a mental note and usually can keep going.

Though I did forget to put in descriptions of the characters in the beginning so that's a problem I need to fix in the editing stage haha.
