    November 2012 Blog Chain

Starting Date: Monday, November 5, 2012
Open to all forum members, even after it starts!

    This month's prompt:
    NaMoReMo (National Mock Review Month)

In the spirit of NaNoWriMo, write a mock review of a writing project that you have done or would like to do. Make sure to either give a brief, one-sentence description of what the project is or work it into the review somehow. You can review anything (poetry, prose, collected blog posts) and in any way you like (funny, serious, Dadaist).

    Instructions:
Simply post your blog's URL in this thread to join. Each post should be less than 1000 words if possible. Read and comment on other participants' posts if you possibly can--they'll be doing the same for you!

I'll let you know in this thread when it's your turn.
Once your turn comes up, you have two days to complete your post. When you are finished, please add a link to your post on the thread. If you signed up but find yourself unable to participate or need to be moved around in the schedule, please PM me or post in the thread. If you fail to post on your blog and on the thread within two days, I'll bump you down to the end of the line on the third day; you'll get a second chance at the end of the month.

Please include a list of all participants' blogs (not necessarily their actual posts for the month) in your blog post, and keep in mind we're not starting until later in the month to give people time to sign up.

    Participants and posts:

See, this is what happens when I don't get enough feedback. I choose a topic no one wants to write on

If we don't get a few more people I'll push back the start to give more time to sign up.

Orion, I would like to participate, but can I be dead last? I'm doing a lot of book events and am sort of swamped til after the 16th, but I LOVE our blog chains.

Just let me know if I should sit it out.

    Thanks,

    Lucie

Okay, I will put you last. But fair warning: if things keep as they are, dead last may equal November 8

Seriously though if we get to that point you can just submit whenever without fear of bumpage.

Do you want to use your book review blog? It seems like a natural choice, but I know some want to segregate real and fake book reviews.

Well, the plan is to do a fake review on my real book blog and see how many fall for it.

(And I already wrote it up. Can't wait until its my turn. Muhahaha.)

Okay, here's that first post. I reviewed the story I wrote for last year's NaNoWriMo; don't feel too bound by the format I followed

    Ralph Pines gets sappy next.
