I am in the pre-writing process of writing a non-fiction book.

Can someone please recommend a book (or two or three or four) on the non-fiction book writing process?

I have a few Amazon.com gift certificates left over from the holidays and I'd like to spend them.

Thanks so much. :)

Here are a couple of suggestions :

Nonfiction Book Proposals Anyone Can Write - Elizabeth Lyon
Write the Perfect Book Proposal - Jeff Herman

Hope these help :)

I also like Jeff Herman's book proposal book and have used it many times. I also recommend my books--"How to Write a Book Proposal in 8 Days or Less" based on my online book proposal classes and "The Right Way to Write, Publish and Sell Your Book." This one is brand new. It contains 328-pages of what you need to know in order to write, publish (no matter what publishing style you choose) and sell (promote) your book. You won't be disappointed in this one.

I forgot to say that my books are also available through Amazon. They have books to sell, but the cover image is not yet up for the newest title: "The Right Way to Write, Publish and Sell Your Book."
