    Story Star Publishing

They have one book, one author. No credits. No nothing really, except a go get 'em attitude, but then again, who doesn't? Figured I should make a thread for them.

Oh, I didn't see their correspondents section. Looks like they have a "vast range of experience within the media industry including promotions, social media, editorial, PR and feature writing."

So there's that. Also, hair extension blogs.

We want to show the world that reading a book is as exciting as buying the new Louis Vitton or a magnificent Ferrari. Through our formidable authors we aim to reach out to today’s book- starved audience especially the teenage, media-savvy generation. While being totally engrossed in the newest video game, they have forgotten about the ecstatic feeling of reading a great story.

Like the regal world of fantasy fiction, our authors will not fail to deliver on a story that transcends life, love and most importantly our reader’s expectations. Video games are so last year when you can escape to a world packed with sensational storylines, characters with extraordinary abilities and not to forget, ultimate battles between heroes that even the ‘Die Hard’ series would never dare to attempt...

When looking for new authors, life experience is not as important as the sheer determination to entice audiences, exceed prospects and expose the world to an exhilarating reading rollercoaster. They would be willing to divulge into new experiences as well as themselves in order to embark on their latest novel. After discovering this new talent, we will develop an author’s flair by providing them with invaluable expertise, esteemed contacts and memories for their publishing dream.

Ye gods. Whoever wrote that needs to cut down on their caffeine intake.

They would be willing to divulge into new experiences as well as themselves in order to embark on their latest novel.
I'm not quite sure what that's supposed to mean but it sounds like the plot of a bad porno flick.

Yeah, definitely bad writing all over the website. Started by some recent college graduates with no real experience.

Some of that writing is so questionable I have to take the college graduate claim with a grain of salt. Or perhaps simply not English majors?

Why doesn't George R. R. Martin use Twitter? He already killed off all 140 characters.

Site currently in maintenance mode, but was recently cached, and Tw/FB are active. Still only the one book, though.

ETA: Site gone, Tw/FB ceased in '14.
