Hi AuthorJ -- I am from Zimbabwe originally and now work between South Africa and Angola, but spent a great deal of time in Kenya growing up (Malindi) and still visit Nairobi about once a year. There are some great writing collectives there and I follow the writings of Binyavanga Wainaina.

I met Binyavanga. (-: He is associated with the Summer Literary Seminars...which is the writing course I took in Kenya.
I loved every minute of it. (-: I would love to take the Lithuania workshop...I would not be surprised if, one day, I got on board for the Kenyan one again. I love Lamu SO much. Masai Mara too!
