This is probably going to be a waste of time, but what the hey.
We appreciate all of the great ideas that everyone is contributing.
No. We are NOT contributing ideas. a)We are not your bitch. b)a publishing house is not run by a committee of procrastinating writers on the interwebs c)they are not ideas, they are big MASSIVE problems with the way you are attempting to run your business. They are indicators that it would be deeply inadvisable to sign a contract with you. When you run those first rights into the ground, they are gone.
We did not know that one of our writers had broken his contract,
It worries me that you didn't know this.
that it would help to sell more if we added something on the home page about the store.
Seriously. Really and truly and seriously? You don't think that linking to a shop is the ideal way to sell things? You don't know that selling books is a publisher's job?
About the "gay porn" thing, we were not aware of this, although we are not sure how many people who are reading our magazine know about this.
Before you name anything, type it into Google. I just typed Strokes Magazine in - what I get are various medical journals, art journals and articles in music magazines about the Strokes, a popular UK indie band. Unless I think to add Bodin to my search term, I am not going to find your product. This is a problem for you.
Check out the magazine, and other works at shop.bodinpubinc.com TODAY
And thank you everyone!!

Even if you don't want to have a conversation, do yourselves a favour:
1)Proofread everything before it goes onto the website. Get rid of the typos and grammatical errors and your website will look much better.
2)Get those artworks off the front page of the website. They are terrible. Really. They look like they were painted by 16 year-olds.
3)Get the books available on Amazon.
4)Put some writing samples in the shop along with the pertinent information like page numbers.
5)Use proper images on your covers, not ones from FreeLargePhotos.com. Do not include the copyright information of said photo in big red letters on the cover.
