    Greetings from SoCal!

Hello, there! My name is Naomi, and it's nice to meet you all. I'm used to writing poetry and guided meditations, but I've always wanted to write a novel. I'm not sure why I put it off so long, but last October someone challenged me to write an outline for a NaNoWriMo novel. I wasn't sure I was going to go through with it, and the outline never came together, but I did come up with a synopsis and decided to go for it. I had a little trouble narrowing the scope of the book, wasn't exactly sure what genre it would fit in, but I did win, and that got me excited to try again. This month, I'm writing a fantasy novel, and it's going very well. I read some books on the craft of writing and learned a bit, so I was more prepared for Camp NaNo. Someone had a link to AW in a post, so here I am!

A TribalCat is me! It was the first character I created for an online rpg back in 1999, and I've used her ever since. She's a shapeshifter who can transform from a woman into a cute adorable cat or a fierce tiger and has black tiger stripes on her skin like a tribal tattoo. The kitty in my av is my cat, Tyger. He lets me use his pic

thanks for the warm welcome, everyone.
