Gameplay Halted for an Ad??

So, the game stops, shows you and ad, then 'rewinds' and resumes the game.

Can I get a hell no?

Maybe if I die I get an advertisement while the game reloads. Maybe loading screens are ads. But do NOT break up the ACTION!

Let's tank whatever game they put this into. I refuse to be pestered while lining up a killshot on enemy troops.

I'm hoping he's right.

But if he's not, then that's a nail in the coffin for buying games just on a lark for me. I get enough ads in my life. I don't want them in the middle of my gaming, thank you.

I don't really mind if Snake listens to his iPod, or Otacon uses an apple, or if Cole eats at Subway, or if Mercer reads DC comics. KEEP IT SUBTLE, developers! I play videogames to get away from reality!
