Mornin' folk!

Kiddo is pretty confident about her testing last night at karate. It helps that for kata testing, the sensei tells them they're just going to practice in a group, then he grades them that way, instead of making them come up in front of everyone by themselves.

I'm craving bacon, and I have no bacon. This is making me sad.

Morning all.

Kinda feeling like crap. Not sick- just family crap that is driving me up the wall.

On another note- Yay Lwalker and INk!

*Tosses various horror related items around the room.* There, that feels a lot better.

As you wish

Sprayed myself with cologne as I was trying to catch it from falling off the shelf. Most of it hit me in the face and chest.

You should make a map of the property with plant locations and save it for future generations in a hidden compartment in the house... would totally freak someone out lol

Caleb, your plant situation sounds awesome. And NIYRAK, I actually really like the plant-map idea.

I really like this idea!

Awww. You saying you crave bacon made me crave bacon. And I hax no bacon! Such a travesty can not be permitted.

On a much happier note - the love scene I was working on last night I finished, despite very itchy finger. I suspect, though, I need to go back an edit it when I am feeling more comfortable.

*throws huge, soft, comfy pillows around the room. Because writing wouldn't be the same without big, huge, comfy pillows.*

As a side note, when I picture this thread I picture Jasper Ff0rdes book world. And it makes me happy.

I always kinda pictured Purgatory like the room of requirement out of Harry Potter. It automatically becomes what you need.

Mornin', Purgies!!! TGITH!!!

Wow, Volume 7 already? Crazy. Personally, I hope the trend continues because in PV5 I got an agent. In PV6 I went on sub, so that means in PV7 ...

Oh, and just for logistical purposes since this is, you know, a new volume ...

SPECIAL SCHEDULING ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PV7:

My birthday, May 6, falls on a Sunday, so the Third Annual Hot-Chicks Steve's Birthday Celebration will be held on Monday, May 7.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Good morning all!

I had the weirdest dream last night about working for one day at a job and then worrying about how I would quit my current job. Woke up totally thinking it was real.

I want to get on Steve's plan for the agent...sub...and hot chicks!

Hope everyone has a great day!

NIYRAK, great idea on the plant map, and woot for pub dates.

lwalker, way to go! Those comments will be good places to return to in years ahead. (Not saying that you won't sell, but they're simply that wonderful.) *vamp dust*

Good for kiddo, and what a smart instructor.

LOL, Steve. Nothing like setting yourself up for a bunch of boobage.

Nice book fort, Elisabetta.

Hey, the last page button is back! Life is good.

Started ripping it up this morning. My plan is to move the entire romantic story into another file, fix it, then put it back. That's as of this morning. It could change. :)

Thanks for the yays. I'm still couching it, because I don't want to get my hopes up. She may not love it enough to buy it, even still. But I hope she does. *rolls in lily's mystery vamp dust* plus, still angsty until I know she doesn't hate me for emailing her twice and spelling her name wrong.

Steve: LOL.

Ink: woohoo!

Question: what's a reasonable timeframe for me to complete this kind of overhaul? I'm going to need to have it betaed again, but I don't want her going "omg, I don't want to work with her because she's never going to turn stuff in!"

WAH!!! This is just like when I went to college and my parents moved away!!! Well guess what? I found you! You can't hide! I'm never letting go!!! ::Clings to Purgatory::

And now I'm surrounded by moving boxes both literally and figuratively. Hm. Universe, what are you trying to tell me?

Yesterday afternoon I was totally DA MAN. While my husband was at work I orchestrated the entire move, and then I put everything back together again - the bathtub hardware, the bed (we have a sleep number thingie so you have to hook the pumps up) and I totally re-piped a sink and moved it several inches to the left so both the washer and dryer would fit. I've got those both hooked up too, already done a load in the washer, but I had the wrong fitting for the gas so I'll finish up the dryer this morning. I feel so accomplished!

Now, I may not be able to balance a checkbook, cook, or crochet, but that's what husbands are for...

What's that smell? Sort of a combination of Caleb's cologne and pee.

Caleb - I mostly jest. My parents moved the week after I went to college, so off I went and the next time I came home it was no longer "home." They did tell me the address, though. ;)

ETA: OMG I finally broke 200 days on that stupid pregnancy calculator! YES.
