I just got a new pc on Thurs. I haven't even taken it out of the box yet, I'm so unsure of what I'm doing. Firefox is my browser of choice; it has all my bookmarks, passwords, etc.
Now, I don't have wi-fi, or any networking equipment, and can't get any. Here's my plan for syncing FF on the new pc:
1) set up a Firefox Sync account.
2) disconnect the modem from the old comp. and hook it up to the new one (remember, I don't have wi-fi).
3) download FF on the new pc, open the Sync account, click the 'I don't have the device with me' option, and use the Retrieval Key (or whatever it's called).
If I do that it should work, right? My new computer will have all the bookmarks and passwords and browser history my old one does? Or is this a silly plan, doomed to failure?
