This Forum, but not forums in general. I've been researching my mad little thumbs off for some time, and really like what I read on here so decided to become a member.

Little about me: I'm a huge fan of paranormal romances, and mystery/thrillers. I love the occasional biography, but the individual has to "capture" me in some way through a crazy selfless act, or for being seriously funny/compelling/etc.

I live in Florida (y'all can be jealous) and have two #1 fans who are 9 and 11 years old that I make listen to all of my YA stories.

I've currently completed my first YA novel "The Sword and The Prophet" and am hard at work on #2 & #3 in the Trilogy, as well as a series entitled Angel.

I've got two books aimed at the romance/adult genre in the works, and am hoping to make some friends here who share my passion for all things literary.

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

I definitely love that you are deep into the written word--I am a dedicated member also. Are you agented? Make sure you have a perfect query and use the critique circles that are here. They really help out.

No I'm not agented. I'm a little bit of a fish out of water in that regard. I had a query letter written, but not sure it was hitting the right notes....

Got a good batch of rejection letters within about 48 hours.

I wish you the best of luck as you give your query letter another pass! From what I've read, they can be quite a pickle!
