Long-time Lurker, creeping from the shadows

I've had my eye on this forum for quite a while, but since my interest in writing had never gotten serious until just recently, I stayed in the dark.

Hello everyone!

I've been imagining stories for as long as I can remember, but never seriously considered doing anything about these imagined stories until about a year ago. Dozens of false-starts later, I've finally accepted that writing is not something that should be done entirely on your own.

So here I am!

A little bit of info about me, of which I will go into more detail in my profile at a later time: I am 23 years old and a married mother of two. I love to read, but due to all sorts of feeble excuses I never have the time nor the range of reading material desired. I'm sure that's not a good thing and I will be trying my best to rectify it shortly.

I'm currently in the process of learning how to begin the actual writing process of a futuristic space fantasy saga I've been developing for years, but finding it to be a more difficult journey than expected. I hope this community can help!

I've never been very good in social situations, either online or real-world, so some things I say may get awkward at times.

I guess that's it, for now. I'm looking forward to perusing the site!
