Ink!!!! Hi!!!

I'm good- rewriting a manuscript in a single POV instead of two, and going all Caroline Forbes with my hair. You?

Dys! *tacklehugs back*

I have been good but super busy and super lazy at once, if that makes sense? I'm trying to figure out how to make poached eggs for mother's day tomorrow, haha.

Thanks HR! :D

Totally makes sense. I'm super busy while lazy and procrastinating all the time. I'm no help with the poached eggs, I'm afraid. We largely left the cooking to Para on our writing retreat last week. I'm only good for standing in the way and potentially setting things on fire. :tongue

I completely understand, too. I've been really busy the past few days, but not really doing anything the average person would view as productive.

I'm not particularly fond of eggs so I'm definitely not much help. :D

I usually poach eggs in a frying pan. Crack 'em in, add a spoonful of water, put the lid on the frying pan, and cook them very gently for a while.

You can also get a cup, line it with clingfilm and crack an egg into it, so that you take out a little bag of clingfilm with the egg inside. Then boil this gently in a pan of water.

Thanks, Para! That seems to be the gist of what I just read, too. Like HR, I'm not really a fan of eggs so I'm generally clueless about how to cook them. Hopefully I don't stuff it up :)

Yeah, I've been home for the past two days and I have all this work I'm meant to be doing but I've just been sort of chilling out and catching up with people and shopping. Hardly productive, hahaha. When I go back to Uni I'm going to die.

Hmm, the clingfilm method sounds interesting. I mostly hear people call it glad wrap here, which is really just the generic brand for plastic wrap, haha.

Glad wrap or plastic wrap is what we call it here!

ETA: Clingfilm sound like filming a movie while ziplining.

A world of pure imagination...
It's too bad it hardly ever clings to what you want it to, though. Half the time I end up using aluminium foil instead, just because it's easier.

Ooh, yes, Ely, that's the word I was thinking of! Though I spell it Syran wrap, 'cause it looks like Syren.

I'm in love with this cover & this book. And every time I look at it, I find something new to like. Just realized that the model's lipstick and the title font are the same color. Whoever put this cover together did a really great job.

And her eyeshadow is a very subtle shade of the same colour too. Beautiful.

Hi, guys. :)

So, I didn't buy the last few books in the Percy Jackson series, but I did preorder JK Rowling's new book!! :D

That is a gorgeous cover, Ink!

Sea of Monsters is actually my least favorite book in that series. The Last Olympian (the last book) is my favorite. My favorite book of anything I've read by Riordan, actually.
