I love the good French movie.

The book is very good, but I can only read it when in the mood, and I CANNOT read it in English because the English is SHIT compared to the original French book. The English just... reads like a translation.

Hmmm... I may just have to learn French so I can read the original, then.....

You do that, BG!

No, I'm HATING this.

Like, you know when somebody can't pronounce your name/hometown/school/etc? That's how I feel whenever people say the names wrong.

Especially Villefort. And Mercédès.

And Danglars.

And Noirtier.

I'm just terrified to hear them mutilate Beauchamp.

People always say my last name wrong. Oh my God, it is so annoying.

People tend to say and spell both my first and last names wrong. It's annoying, but I've gotten used to it. Besides which, in another couple of years one of them will have (hopefully) changed.

Hello guys. :D

If it makes you feel any better, I've had many, many people mispronounce my surname as "Gildo" over the years.

Luckily I have a pretty easy-to-pronounce last name. It's the first name that messes people up. People are always asking me how to spell it even though my name is a bird, a common one at that. One girl who has known me for a pretty long time spelled my name Raeven and other people tend to write Rayven and it's SO ANNOYING. [jumps off soap-box]

Hey guys!

I should be doing homework but I recently started watching The Vampire Diaries and I am HOOKED. The first season is so good and I don't why I just now started watching it!

How's it going everyone?

My name is pronounced how it's spelt. It's only when I say it, and people repeat it, that it sounds like that to them. Even though it doesn't sound like that. *Sigh*

I'm doing good, thanks. Just re-re-planning my story and watching Supernatural.

I should be working on AM, but I'm playing Uno....

And my first name is ridiculously easy. Unfortunately it's really close to a common name, and mine's not so common.

I love my name, minus the dildo rhyming slang... I'm the only one of me on facebook, which is pretty cool. :D

I'm just terrified to hear them mutilate Beauchamp.

I know someone with that name and I pronounce it differently each time I say it because I don't know which is right.

I don't think my name is all that complicated but somehow people manage to mispronounce both my first and last name all the time. It's even worse when they try to spell it.

Our first names have kind of the same problem. They're really super similar to a common name, and so get misspelled all the time.

I just found out that at thirteen, werewolves and half-werewolves also go to specialist werewolves school. I shall have to add a culture section into that worldbuilding document.

I think it's dinner soon.

BG- oh, are you going to change your last name when you get married?

It's actually not legal in Québec for a woman to change her name to her husband's after marriage. One can change their name for other reasons, but not that.

I really don't want to change my last name. I'm very proud of it, and my family and our heritage and history and story and besides, I'm the last of us with the name (well, there's my sister, but she isn't the eldest and doesn't want children, which could change, but I dunno.)

ETA: People spell my last name wrong without fail EVERY SINGLE TIME I SAY IT- and I spell it each time I say it, no matter what. I have a really simple, six-letter name made out of two three-letter words. It's really NOT THAT COMPLICATED.
