Teens Writing for Teens, issue 6

So I stopped at 14 some K.

Today so far i've written a combine total of 9,718 words! Kind of want to just write the next few hundred words to make it an even 10K! Oh well. I'll just round up!

That is a lot of words for one day.

I just had an SNI. Don't think I want to start it now so I'll just write a summary of it and then read or something. I didn't realize how late it was.

Grrrrrrr!!!! so i thought i could relax by watching Buffy the vampire slayer, and but the internet here is too slow and it keeps buffering which is taking like three hours just to watch a 40 minute show! And i'm soooooooooooooo freaking tired but i cant sleep because i'm trapped in this freaking hotel room with a mother and grandmother that's snores alone could wake the freaking dead!!! I just want to sleep... its not too much to ask for right? I'm seriously about to sleep in the tub hoping that the separation of one room might block out the sound!

I'm tired too. But...maybe you could tell your mother/grandmother that they're snoring too loud. They might get mad at you for waking them up but that's what I do if I'm trying to sleep and someone is snoring WAY too loud.

It wont help, they will wake up yell, go back to sleep and continue snoring at the same level as before. There is also now a car alarm or something outside that for the last half an hour has been beeping non-stop. I'm really about to lose my mind. Looks like i'm sleeping in the freaking bathtube to get away. And what sucks most is my mom told me the other day i would only have to endure one night of this... Turns out that was a freaking lie.

My roommate had a Gilmore Girls marathon, and I did homework when she took breaks. ...No way in the world could I concentrate with that show playing.

I've never watched Gilmore Girls haha.

*sighs* I don't know why I'm still up.

So me and Mum went to the supermarket earlier, and there was a guy who looked freakily like Grant Gustin at one of the tills. Only with spiky hair.

Finally ended up going to sleep, then my mom, grandmom and I are going to a stake dinner later on tonight!

I'm doing so bad on my diet right now. I've been so good for the past two week but these last two days my grandmom just keep buying food and i cant help myself!!! GRRRRRR!!! Oh well its only two days I'll get back on the wagon tomorrow!

Haven't written for hours -- my laptop switched itself off again, so I gave it a break, and I'm stuck anyway.

Where am I? Atlantic City NJ. If you haven't been there its the casino capital of the East Coast, right under Vegas.

What am I doing? Uh sitting in the hotel room in my pj's on my computer. Even though I'm now legal to gamble the trait didn't really get passed on to me... or it if did i repress it, so i'd rather just sit in the room and do nothing.

Shouldn't not be am?

Meh. Can't say Las Vegas appeals to me. Unless there are cute girls involved in which case I'm all for it.

It doesn't appeal to me, either...

My family has been dragging me down here every year since I was born. I think that's why i personally hate it down here. If you not 21 you cant do ANYTHING!!! So 21 years of boredom makes you utterly hate this place. And I do, even now. Its become a family tradition on every Thanksgiving and Easter to come down here. Because you know, nothing spells holiday then a casino.

Plus i got yelled at by a freaking security guard because I put one foot on the carpet, (which your not allowed to do if your not 21) ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? One foot while waiting for someone!? And I AM 21! I showed him my ID just to piss him off and he thought it was a fake!

Well i cant actually blame him I was wearing a Kingdom Hearts shirt... hehehehe.

Guys, my laptop switched itself off again, Can playing games have an effect?

If your laptop is overheating repeatedly even on a flat hard surface like a table, I suspect the fan has packed in. Take it to a repair shop. Hope it's under warranty.

Also, check for dust. Sometimes, dust can clog fans. Also, if you want to bypass having to replace the fan, get one of these:



Laptop Cooling Pad!

Is the Belkin cooling pad the one you'd recommend, Zoom? I run my laptop primarily on my bed, so I've ruined many a fan in my day. I'd like my current laptop to survive a little longer than the ones before.

Thankfully, I've already contacted the people who supplied it.

It would be really nice if laptops nowadays had a multi-venting system instead of it being located at the bottom of it. But only one can dream.
