Teens Writing for Teens, issue 6

Morning team!

You guys...

last night around 6:30 I jumped onto my bed for a little nap.

I woke up around 7:45 this morning.

Can you say "exhausted"? I have NEVER slept that long in my life- except when I stayed up 72 hours straight (pulled an all-nighter in Italy, then flew home to Canada and tried to fight the jet-lag).

I rarely even sleep past 8 when I go to bed past midnight.

WOW.

ETA: I want to be productive today, but I'm in ridiculous pain from my wisdom tooth

I wonder how many books can fit in my carry on...

Hey guys!

I'm writing a short story for a contest on Figment. How's everyone?

Excited/nervous about Script Frenzy.

I STILL haven't been able to outline...

Haha I forgot all about Script Frenzy. Oh well...

I just really need to finish this short story so that I can edit and enter the contest, but I can't seem to write. :/

I'm going to a write-in tomorrow.

Going out on Monday, so I'm hoping to get ahead.

I will be starting at midnight.

Have fun at the write-in. I've never been to one so I hope you do get a lot done.

I've never been to one either. I'm hoping my friend from uni will be there too, haha.

Hmm... March 31 and a snow storm. I'm hoping it'll be gone by tomorrow morning when I fly out...

A snow storm?! Well, that sucks.

We didn't have winter this year...which is odd because our winters are usually brutal.

I read in Macleans that this is the warmest winter in North America in 65 years. In the major cities, at least.

I'm bored waiting for Script Frenzy to start...

Ok so as a closet Taylor Swift fan, have you guys listened to "Eyes Open" it was for the Hunger Games movie?

Ok... I just want to say, that that song fits so perfectly for FREAKs i really want to cry.

Haven't heard Eyes Open but I do like Safe & Sound. I'm not a HUGE Taylor Swift fan but LOVE The Civil Wars, so that's the only reason why I like Safe & Sound. Staying away from all Hunger Games things until I see it, which will hopefully be on Thursday.

The song make so much sense for FREAKs its unbelievable. Since i never watched or read hunger games i'm wondering if they are at all similar.

Well, if FREAKS isn't dystopian or science fiction then I don't think it's anything like HG.

I've read what HG is about, so i think i'm safe, although i guess mine is considered SF. I'm just really not good at categorizing my stuff.

I have avatars turned off so I'm not sure what you mean, but the mods are known for making amusing avatar changes on April Fool's Day.
